Spa Day and Evening Escape packages must be pre-booked either online or by calling our Reservations Team on 01721 725300. The charge for these is payable at the time of booking.
Treatments & Spa Facilities
Treatments included in your package will automatically be pre-booked but if you’re looking for extra pampering, view our full range of spa treatments and read our important advice to help you get the most out of your visit. Please remove all jewellery before using the spa facilities and prior to the start of your treatment.
Treatment Requests
For any treatments not included in your package, please complete the Treatment Request Form, call 01721 725300 (option 2) or email spa@stobocastle.co.uk.
We recommend advising us of your preferences at the time of booking as additional treatments are subject to availability. The Evening Escape package is our taster option to experience our extensive range of spa facilities, unfortunately it is not possible to add treatments to this package, with the exception of the Relaxing Water Massage.

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
For those with electric cars, the nearest Charging Stations can be found at the nearby Dawyck Botanic Gardens and Marks & Spencer in Peebles, 7 miles from Stobo.

What to Bring
The dress code at Stobo is very informal and all you will need to bring for your visit is:
Swimwear
Outdoor shoes
Gym shoes
A water bottle
Training shoes and suitable clothing must be worn in the gym and exercise studio and swimwear is required for the wet facilities. Our guided walks take place in all weathers and suitable footwear and outdoor clothing should be worn.
We provide bathrobes, towels and hairdryers. Slippers are also provided to all guests, with the exception of those taking the Evening Escape package.
As a business, we are passionate about environmental awareness and we no longer provide plastic water cups in the spa. We recognise the importance of keeping hydrated and would kindly ask you to bring a water bottle with you.
Cancellation Policy
7 days notice is required for a date change or cancellation, otherwise the prepayment or gift voucher will be retained by the company.
Activities
We provide a variety of exercises including Yoga, Pilates, Total Tone and Chi-Ball with lots of good, fun dance classes in between and of course our ever popular Aqua-Fit class. Spa facilities, including the 25m UV swimming pool, hydrospa, health suites and gymnasium are open from 7am to 10pm.
For those who enjoy the great outdoors, we have a floodlit tennis court and organised walks take place every day. We can also arrange golf, fishing and riding on request at an additional cost.
Internet Access
Free wireless internet access is available in all areas of the castle, including guest bedrooms.
Mobile Phone Policy
To maintain a peaceful atmosphere here at Stobo, please switch your mobile phones to silent and do not use to make or take calls in public areas. If you wish to use your mobile or any other device to take photographs, please ensure there are no other guests in any of your images.
