SPA MANAGER
We are looking for an experienced, professional Spa Manager to join our award-winning team at Stobo Castle Health Spa.
Stobo Castle Health Spa is a family-run business nestled among the beautiful Scottish Borders countryside, located just outside the town of Peebles.
Objective:
To efficiently and effectively manage the daily operations of the Spa to maximise revenue whilst achieving the Spa’s business goals by leading and managing the team to achieve guest satisfaction through excellent customer service and quality Spa treatments.
You will be responsible for:
Leading the Spa department, maintaining a great working culture and managing your team effectively to achieve excellent service standards for our guests.
Working collaboratively with the Spa Supervisors and Therapy training team to ensure all employees within the Spa Department are trained and developed to maintain the correct level of professional skills and knowledge that meets the needs of the business.
Interacting with guests and addressing guest feedback in a friendly and unobtrusive manner providing full knowledge and assistance where required.
Driving sales and ensuring exceptional guest experience at all times.
Managing the department’s recruitment and team management including interviews, inductions, appraisals, training, health and safety.
Managing the department’s financials including working within budgets, stock management, forecasting revenue and costs, product performance reporting to ensure commerciality.
Building excellent working relationships with key business partners and suppliers.
Maintaining excellent spa operational standards and embracing industry trends, innovations, and best practices to ensure we deliver the most luxurious treatment experiences.
Working with the Directors and Head of Departments to meet and deliver business objectives, promoting Stobo values at all times and contributing to the wider company growth and development.
Essential skills and knowledge:
Previous recent experience of working as a Spa Manager, leading, and managing a large team in a luxury spa environment.
A highly motivated candidate possessing an immense sense of pride in their work, and meticulous about delivering the highest standard for our guests.
Welcoming and interacting with our guests with a warm, positive and professional attitude to meet and exceed expectations.
Exceptional communication, with a passion to lead and inspire a team through coaching, training, and positive communication to ensure we deliver exceptional services consistently, and our team develops and grows in skills and ability.
Excellent planning and organisational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects and prioritise workload.
