A massive investment programme, which resulted in the new pool & gym area, juice bar and Spa shop, was completed in 2003 and successfully fuses 19th century architecture with every 21st century comfort.

Castle Lodge (illustrated below) opened in June 2005 and is just a 200 yard outside walk from the Castle. The contemporary style rooms are extremely good value for money at just £109 per person per night, sharing, including all meals and use of the facilities. A supplement of £15 pppn applies on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday night.
